Frequent Flyer

Understanding

Travelling by plane can make your stress levels soar.
Finding the right trip for the right amount of money involved hunting and detective work.
Altogether, transparency and guidance is lacking in many flight experiences, at many points in the journey.
When travelling, you have no way of knowing clear next steps - each airport is a mystery, and wayfinding can be complicated.

Goals

Create an app that is your personal assistant to flying - one that gives you instruction and guidance when purchasing tickets, before your flights, during your flights, and when arriving at your destination.

Welcome to Frequent Flier!

When you do not have a current flight planned, Frequent Flier will guide you to Find a Trip.

You have the choice to search for a specific location, browse popular destinations, or ...
... you can toggle to the "Explore" view to see all possible locations, and filter down by price.

This can help those who have an itch to travel, or know they'd like to go on vacation but are unsure of what's within their budget.
Once selecting into a location, we'll give you more details about the destination, including the trip you have selected, prices per season for that destination, and some popular photos for you to explore.

And when you're ready, you can go ahead and book your trip!
Fast forward to the day of your trip. When you open your app, instead of heading to Find a Trip, you're shown details on your Current Trip instead.

Here, you can easily pull up your ticket and explore what this airport has to offer as you wait for your flight.

The app also provides entertainment options (similar to a complimentary video in flight), and a "planning" tab, where you can view your upcoming connections and flights.
Needing to make a quick connection? Looking for a restroom without having any luck? Or (in this case) have a very specific sweet tooth craving?

The wayfinding feature can quickly guide you to your destination within a given airport.
Similar to Google Maps, once you begin your search and select a location, Frequent Flier will help guide you there.
